The most important thing to remember is to check in with your mind – what you’re thinking, how you’re feeling, etc! And remember that it’s okay to have a bad day; it will pass (even if it doesn’t seem like it at the time).
This list is a mix of self care hacks that you can start implementing today to uplift your mood. And tips that will take some time to become second nature. But once you start implementing these tips, your life will be forever changed!

1. Having a sense of routine
If you feel like your days are just passing by and you have no idea what’s going on, having a routine will literally save your life. We’re all humans. And we all crave some sort of structure.
Start by creating a simple routine, even if it’s just a 15 minute morning and night self care routine for mental health that makes you feel in control of your days.

2. Replace morning coffee with tea
This is a very subtle substitute, but if you’re a coffee enthusiast, it might not be your favorite. But once you start drinking tea in the morning, I swear you would never want to go back!
You can begin replacing it with this Lipton decaf tea. It’s not expensive and tastes best when brewed cold. Also, don’t forget to drink water as soon as you wake up.
3. Get An Actual Alarm Clock (Yeah!)
Stop using your phones as alarms to wake up in the morning. Get an actual alarm clock instead, to avoid scrolling through your phone first thing in the morning.

When you’re sitting at home and your brain is a jumble, the best thing you can do is go for a hot girl walk. They literally work!

5. Meet your loved ones
A lot of times, feeling lonely really impacts our mental health. So, no matter how busy you are, make time to meet with a loved one! This is the simplest self care tips for mental health.
You family and friends want to be their for you, so if you’re having a bad day, just give them a call. Nothing a good girlfriend therapy sessions can’t fix.
7. Good sleep
I recently listened to a podcast episode in which they stated that getting a good 8-hour sleep will improve your mental health by 70%.
Here are some products that you need in your bedroom if you have a hard time falling asleep. Essential oils, especially, really help my mind to calm down before sleep.
8. Monthly self care day
Schedule a day every month where you spend time taking care of yourself. Treat yourself with an at home spa and a lavish bubble bath experience. Isn’t this the best self care tips for mental health?
