Here are 15 tried and tested tips that’ll help you be more productive. I’ve also divided them in categories as productivity tips for the mornings, daily, weekly and life tips.
How To Be More Productive In The Morning
1. Morning Routine For Momentum
Your mornings have a direct impact on the rest of your day. You’re more likely to get sh*t done if you have a morning routine that leaves you feeling energized and motivated for the day. Rather than following a routine that makes you feel sluggish!
Make your breakfast smoothie, go for a walk, drink your morning coffee – do whatever gets you ready for the day!

2. To-Do Lists
After you’re done with your morning routine, create a to-do list of all the things you need to get done today. Having an idea of what your day is going to look like helps you be more efficient with your time.
3. Eat The Frog First
This refers to completing the most important (and difficult) task first thing in the morning. So you don’t have to think about it for the rest of the day.
Prioritize the three most important tasks that must be completed today. And begin with them. To learn more, read this book.

4. Know What Time Of The Day You Are The Most Productive
Some of us love getting up early and starting work by 9 am. While others find it easier to work until late at night. Know what time of the day is the most productive for you and schedule your tasks accordingly.
5. Eliminate Distractions
Getting anything done these days is nothing less than a miracle – given the distractions we have around us. Don’t just rely on will power to eliminate distractions, use these action steps to assist you.
- Silent notifications on your phone.
- Put your phone on zen mode. Or in another room!
- Disable notification on your laptop (and phone) using the Freedom app (Start your free trial here)
- Create a work space where you won’t get distracted by the surroundings.
6. Take Frequent Breaks
Unpopular opinion, but your rest time directly impacts your productivity. Take regular breaks, even if they’re just for 10-15 minutes. Schedule time for rest and fun in your days. Be as intentional with your rest as you are with your work.
7. Have A Start And Stop Time For Work
Don’t take your work to bed. Set a specific time for the end of your workday. This is so beneficial because we usually work better with deadlines. Ever noticed how the days before the vacation are the most productive ones? Well, create that urgency in your life every day.

8. Time block
Weekly planning can help you work faster and more efficient, compared to daily planning. Because this way you don’t have to get up every single day and waste time deciding what to do. I plan my weeks using Google Calendars. You can also use classic planners.
If you want to know the exact method that’ll help you increase your productivity 3x, from the first week itself, check out the Quarter Crush Bundle. I’ve broken down my system into simple steps in this course to help you get results much faster.
9. Group Similar Tasks
Batching your tasks is another way to be more efficient. For eg, Instead of wasting 5 minutes here and there checking your emails, it is better to set aside 30 minutes every day to check and respond to emails.
10. Leave Space For The Unexpected
This is such an important pointer that most people miss! Always create a schedule that’s flexible. Because, here’s the thing, life happens, and sometimes you have to change your plans. So it’s better to have space in your schedule so that if something urgent comes up, you can handle it.

11. Plan Your Goals & Have Deadlines
There’s no point in working your ass off and being productive, if you don’t even know what you’re working towards? Set clear goals. And have very specific timelines to achieve them (we work best with deadlines, remember?).
I have an in-depth goal setting system, where I help you plan goals for the quarter and months inside the Quarter Crush Bundle. It’s so simple yet so effective, you’ll love it.

12. Break Them Into Smaller Sizes & Prioritize
Divide your quarterly or monthly goals into bite-sized tasks that you can complete each week. This way, you’ll be one step closer to your goals every week.
Don’t forget to prioritize the more important tasks! We often keep doing the easy tasks, feeling productive, but then we eventually realize we’re nowhere near our goals.
13. Eliminate procrastination
Procrastination and productivity don’t go hand in hand! Here’s a quick hack to eliminate procrastination :
Anytime you feel like you have a lot to do but don’t wanna get up from the couch, tell your brain to get up and do 5 jumping jacks. 5 jumping jacks immediately, that’s all! Don’t think about your work.
And by the time you finish the jumping jacks, your body will be in a completely different state, and it will be much easier to begin working on your tasks than it was when you were lying on the couch.
14. Delegate
The most important skill to learn if you want to start working more efficiently is delegating. Asking for help from friends and family, or hiring someone, can help you save a lot of time and energy. But it is often difficult for us to ask for help!
That’s why I want you to try this challenge : Look for a situation in your life where you can ask for assistance. Whether it’s a friend helping you with your presentation or your mother picking you up from work. Try to get help and be grateful for it.
15. Don’t multitask
You might think that if you watch the workshop and work and plan your meals at the same time, you’d probably get things done faster.
Well, it’s actually the opposite. When you try to multitask, you often end up wasting more time than you save. It’s better to focus on one task at a time and set a deadline to finish it. Here’s an amazing read on this topic :
